“Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.” – Joseph Campbell
Today, I get to join with a dozen brave women as we retreat into the wild.
When we intentionally step back from our lives – especially in the midst of this particular time of pandemics, presidents, earthquakes and uncertainty, we create pivot points.
Even small trajectory shifts add up to immensely different outcomes as we author our next steps with greater insight and perspective.
As the hero’s journey illustrates, we must be willing to let go – of comfort, of fear, of our status quo – to create space for that next chapter.
Perhaps you will join us from afar, in considering (free writing encouraged):
- Where is my current call to adventure?
- What are all of the possibilities that could manifest from this challenge?
- What would it mean for me to follow my bliss?
These are mindset anchors that empower us to choose a meaningful response to life, breaking us out of the narrow, rigid thinking that feeds fear, avoidance, judgment, revenge and hate.
When we surrender to uncertainty and let go of all our squirmy attempts to control reality, we naturally connect, contribute and take ownership of our experience, even within seemingly intolerable circumstances.
Shifting into this resilient mindset is the key to opening new, unexpected doors ahead.
