The last full moon before Winter Solstice is often called the Mourning Moon. In pagan traditions, this symbolizes a time to reflect and open the doors to change by letting go of the past.

We will gather on the eve, as the moon will rise at 2:16 am, and will align our circle with sunset (note the earlier time). Please bring an item that symbolizes what you wish to release for our altar.
