This is my 100th post. It’s nice how WordPress keeps track of that for you. I had no idea this uneventful and yet meaningful milestone was approaching until I sat down to write just now.

A google search didn’t immediately answer how many blogs actually get to 100 posts. This either means I am determined against the odds, or that I am just another crazy blogger.

The anniversary of my unplanned but wonderful exit from the 9-to-5 world is also coming up next week. On my 28th birthday.

Anniversaries are funny things. They’re always bittersweet.

Time passes, which means that we are still alive and kicking, but if you’re wired like me, not quite as far along as one would have liked to be.

Big changes are around the corner. They always are. Planned and unplanned. Welcome and difficult.

But that’s the point, isn’t it? All you can do is invest yourself into your life and the lives of those you love today while inhaling chocolate cake at every opportunity to brace yourself for tomorrow.

Here’s to anniversaries.

  1. Congratulations on hitting 100 posts. I am not even halfway there, so I have some appreciation for the work you’ve put in already. I enjoy the blog so here’s to hoping to many hundreds more.
